As I am sitting here winding up a very exciting and rewarding career in education, I still find it hard to believe that I have done this for over thirty seven and a half years while doing it in five different school districts. It is amazing to think about all of the changes that have taken place over that period of time in education, as well as some of the things that circle back around and we do again. I have met many amazing and dedicated people along the journey, and I hope I have touched the lives of many young people along the way.

I want to thank the Fayette community for your support and friendships during my two times I have served in this school district. This community has overcome so many obstacles while I have been here, and I salute you for that. You have supported this school district to the utmost, and the young people of this community are the benefactors. You solved a major problem by voting to build a new school away from the current contaminated area, and I believe you will be extremely proud and pleased with your new facility.

I wish this community ultimate success in any endeavor you choose, and I will be back from time to time to visit and check on your progress.

Thank you, and may God bless each and every one of you.
