Emma Florence Stevens, 94, of Belleville, Mich., died Nov. 17, 2007, in Ann Arbor, Mich.

She was born Dec. 10, 1912, in Morenci, Mich., the daughter of Chester Wilson and Hazel Jane (Bordine) Shoup. She married Thomas Edward Stevens, and he preceded her in death July 19, 1955.

She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Belleville.

Emma is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Jane Stevens of Belleville; a sister, Twila Knoblauch of Morenci; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Foster Shoup in 1969.

Funeral services were at the First United Methodist Church in Belleville. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci.
