Here’s a link to an interesting video of a human-powered Ferris wheel in India. I saw some photos of it on another website, but you have to watch the video to really get the effect. I wonder how many people have been injured in this device. Environmental Graffiti wonders who’s having more fun: the riders or the workers. I tried to get video of this while in India but it didn’t turn out.
The workers were having much more fun than the riders. However at the time of the photo, there were a couple of riders having a good time egging on the photographer to try and take a ride. I chickened out, hating to be the center of attention. Maybe next time.
