Who said this?

“I’ll try to find ya some and I’ll bring ‘em to ya.”

  1. Green responded:

That’s Sarah Palin responding to Katie Couric’s request for samples of John McCain’s efforts to regulate Wall Street during his many years in the Senate.

Oliver Burkeman says: “If you’re prone to ‘empathetic embarrassment’, this video may make you feel ill.”

  2. Green responded:

Columnist Kathleen Parker used to be a Palin supporter. This doesn’t look good:

“When Couric pointed to polls showing that the financial crisis had boosted Obama’s numbers, Palin blustered wordily: “I’m not looking at poll numbers. What I think Americans at the end of the day are going to be able to go back and look at track records and see who’s more apt to be talking about solutions and wishing for and hoping for solutions for some opportunity to change, and who’s actually done it?”

If BS were currency, Palin could bail out Wall Street herself.

Only Palin can save McCain, her party, and the country she loves. She can bow out for personal reasons, perhaps because she wants to spend more time with her newborn. No one would criticize a mother who puts her family first.”

  3. Steve responded:

I haven’t been able to keep pace with our financial bailout and it’s politics. This is the CBS Couric, Palin interview on Sept 24. The very end of Part I is where this Palin quote comes from.

    It’s becoming a favorite phrase on campus. . . said with a smile, of course . . .
In this case, it may be better than the potential for a knee-jerk reaction - err . . I mean a rapid response - which COULD come with a rifle.

  5. Steve responded:

Then from Whitehouse Ohio, there’s a corn maze cut from Palin’s likeness.
