Hail in Kenya
September 7th, 2008
In Kenya, the only way to see snow or ice generally is to look up to Mt. Kenya. Then came a freak hailstorm:
But if any of you had had a blazing hot Kenyan adventure, you could have got rather a surprise. a A freak hailstorm, which hit Busara, 255km north west of the capital, has covered a large part of the district in a thick sheet of ice. Locals say it is the worst storm in living memory, and it’s the first sight of snow or ice for many of them.
At least one villager thought Jesus had returned.
