Cicadas singing

Steve was amazed when he heard cicadas singin in Wauseon nearly two weeks ago. Add me to the list of the surprised ones. It certainly seems early to me. We'll be out collecting exoskeletons from tree trunks in early August at this rate instead of at the end of summer.

The obvious reason for the early cicadas is global warming. Remember, that’s the answer now for all things odd.
They’re back in Wauseon again- Cicada sounds.
I heard them in Morenci last night. Found a skeleton attatched to a tire while we were in Iowa last weekend.
Thanks for your post- I haven’t seen any skeletons- thought maybe my tinnitus had cranked up another notch.
