We published these two photos in the print edition two weeks ago seeking information. Who is Newt Ward’s driver? Who is the streetsweeper?

Newt Ward had a furniture and undertaking business in Fayette. Arlene Waldfogel wrote from Gettysburg, Penn., to say that she also has a photo of Newt and the other man is listed on her photo as Mr. Pike. Arlene doesn’t know if the furniture wagon shown here was also used in the funeral business.

The streetsweeper worked in Morenci. Ed LaNew brought the photo in and so far we’ve heard nothing about the sweeper’s identity.
