Black bears spreading

Kentucky biologists discuss bear sightings in Kentucky as moving north and west:

Until recently, Kentucky’s black bears have kept mostly to areas east of Interstate 75 and south of the Mountain Parkway, but the population appears to be spreading west into the Lincoln Trail Region and north, with reports of bear sightings in Boone and Campbell counties.

Boone County is just below Cincinnati.
